Is your child growing out of her uniforms? Does he need another pair of those khaki pants? Twice a year, USJ parents organize a uniform resale.

New Sale Hours:

Wednesday, August 17
5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Thursday, August 18
7:30 to 11:30 a.m. and 2 to 4 p.m.

Drop off:

Wednesday, August 17
7:30 to 11:30 a.m. and 2 to 5:30 p.m. (no drop-offs after 5:30 p.m. due to sale starting)

Pick up:

Friday, August 19
7:30 a.m. to noon

Uniform Resale Instructions

Spirit Wear Now Accepted

We will now accept USJ School Spirit Wear and USJ athletic spirit wear in good, clean condition on hangers! List these items on regular form with uniforms! Tag and hang according to regular tagging/hanging instructions on website.

An Important Note:

ONLY USE TAN MASKING TAPE! Make sure it sticks. Old tape does not stick. NO DUCT TAPE! NO BLUE PAINTER’S TAPE!

SALE INFORMATION

Please remember this is a CASH ONLY sale.  We cannot accept checks. Participants must pick up their money by noon on the pick up day of the sale. We cannot hold your money. We cannot hold your clothing; bring your cash with you.

A $5 service charge will be deducted from each participant’s final sale. If you volunteer at the sale, your service charge will be waived.

PLEASE NOTE

IF YOU DO NOT PICK UP YOUR UNSOLD UNIFORMS AND MONEY BY 12 NOON ON THE DAY AFTER THE SALE THE UNIFORMS AND YOUR MONEY WILL BE DONATED TO THE SCHOOL.

These instructions must be followed exactly. Correctly tagging your items is the most important thing you can do to ensure that you sell and receive full credit for your items. Please read and follow all of the instructions when tagging your items.

ANY TAGS DONE INCORRECTLY WILL NEED TO BE RE-DONE WHEN YOU DROP OFF YOUR ITEMS.

FORM: Download and print the attached pdf form. Make sure you fill it out before you come to the sale. Bring it with you when you bring your uniforms. (Uniform Resale Form in PDF format)

TAGGING AND DESCRIPTION: (Important, new requirements) Tagging must be done with regular tan-colored masking tape. Do not use any other types of tape. Do not use labels or index cards. Masking tape only! Make sure your tape sticks well to the uniform. Do not use old tape as it will come off.

Write your first and last name, price, size and a very brief description in case your tape becomes separated from your item.  Ex: “SS Navy Polo” or “Boy’s Khaki Pants” will help in matching items with lost tags because there are always a few. The hanger hook must face to the left and put the tape on the right side of the uniform as you face it. When writing the size, please use S, M, or L or a size if available.

HANGERS: All uniforms must be on hangers. The hanger hook should face to the left with the tape on the right side of the garment as you face it. You can use plastic hangers. If you do not have clips on your hangers, you must safety pin pants, skirts and shorts onto the top side of the hanger to keep them from sliding to one side. Use medium to large safety pins, no straight pins.  Items folded over hangers will not be accepted.

PRICING: When pricing, we suggest asking 1⁄2 of the original price.  However, this is at your discretion. If the item is in great condition or new with tags, feel free to ask more. Big ticket items, such as fleece jackets, can bring more of their original price. Please keep your prices in full dollar increments (NO $1.99, $6.50, etc.).

APPEARANCE: Please do not bring dirty, stained or wrinkled uniforms.  Appearance does matter. The better they look, the better they sell!
