2010-2011 Tuition, Fees, and Payment Schedule

Tuition

For your convenience, USJ offers automatic tuition payments from your local banking account. Discounts for the third child ($500), fourth child ($1,250), fifth child ($1,750), and sixth child ($2,500) in the same family will be credited to the final payment on the 3-Pay Plan and on the 11-Pay Plan.

FACTS Online Payment Plan

USJ is offering a new tuition payment system, managed by FACTS Management Co., beginning with the 2010-2011 school year. FACTS is the largest private school tuition management company in the country and is used by many of our sister schools in Memphis and Nashville and by one of the other Jackson schools. 
 
After careful consideration and review of available systems, we decided to contract with FACTS for our tuition management in order to make parent payment and USJ collection procedures more convenient and efficient. If you select a one-pay payment plan, and pay by July 1, you will not be required to use FACTS for your tuition payments — you may pay USJ directly. All families, new and returning, who select a 3-pay or 11-pay payment plan will need to register with FACTS for an actively managed payment plan that provides great flexibility in selecting a payment date. The costs of using the FACTS system will be absorbed by the school.

Tuition Refund Plan (TRP)

USJ, like all independent schools, must take the position that no refund of tuition paid, or cancellation of tuition due, can be made in the event of absence, withdrawal or dismissal of the student. The Tuition Refund Plan (far right column, above) provides families with contractual protection in the event the family leaves the school before year end.

The plan pays 50% of the unused tuition fee for withdrawals other than medical. The plan pays 100% of the unused tuition fee for medical withdrawals. This fee will be dueon or before August 1.
