Cori Rose

Cubs

Cori Rose teaches Cubs. Cori has a bachelor of arts in public relations from the University of Tennessee at Martin. She will graduate with her Masters in Education with a focus on PreK-6th grade from Union University in December 2010. Cori has been teaching at USJ for 10 years, three as an assistant and seven as head teacher.

Her philosophy in teaching is to turn play into learning so that learning becomes fun.

Her mother, Elizabeth, is a third grade teacher at USJ. Her brother, Drake, is a 2001 USJ graduate. Her daughter, Ava, is in Jr. Kindergarten at USJ. Her daughter, Leda, is one year old.

Outside of the classroom, she enjoys volleyball, reading and spending time with her family.

Sara Kazempour

Sara Kazempour, who has been an educator for 15 years, is Cori Rose's Cubs Assistant.

She holds a bachelor of arts in teaching English as a foreign language and has been at USJ for seven years as a teacher's assistant. She wants to create a situation for children to learn better through love and help.

Her son, Keyon, is in sixth grade at USJ. Outside of the classroom, Sara enjoys playing soccer, swimming, and running. Sara enjoys everything and everyone about USJ. "They are so interesting and caring," she said.
