Jim Hardegree

Upper/Middle School Dean of Students, Director of Facilities, Asst. Football Coach

Jim Hardegree wears several hats at USJ: He is Dean of Students, Director of Facilities and an assistant coach on the football team, serving as defensive coordinator.

Jim has a B.S. in physical education and health and a M.S. in educational administration and supervision. Both of his degrees are from the University of Tennessee at Martin. He is a member of the American Football Coaches Association and Tennessee Football Coaches Association.

He has spent 30 years as a teacher, coach, and administrator. Besides his last five years at USJ, Jim taught 13 years total at Jackson Central-Merry, North Side and Huntingdon high schools, five years at the University of Tennessee at Martin, and seven years at Lambuth University.

His wife, Adair, is the USJ cheerleading coach. They have two children: Bo and Bill, who is a 2008 USJ graduate.
